Enrichment

Katherine Smith Offers a Variety of Enrichment Programs

Enrichment classes are programs that support learning and individualized strengths. Core subjects such as math and reading are important to build a strong base for every child’s education, but enrichment activities and extracurricular classes may be where your child shines. Katherine Smith offers these enrichment programs for our students.

Little Heroes

Little HEROES is a program that aims to empower, mentor, and build leaders of the future. They believe that inclusion and self direction are key components in helping children become young leaders at school and key factors in the community. Little HEROES main focus is to create a sense of confidence and ownership in youth and provide outlets to help mentor and guide them.

At Katherine Smith, Little HEROES provides a full-time recess and lunch coach to support safe and positive games for all students, as well as providing PE or all classes.  Our coach will also run the Junior Coaches program where students can build their leadership skills by supporting these games during breaks.
